Washington Curtain Laundry was located at 1209 South K Street (now known as Martin Luther King Jr. Way). The building was built in 1924 by the Walesby Construction Company, it was originally occupied by the Washington Hand Laundry. Exterior view of facilities, sign indicates they also have thrifty wash, rough dry, curtains, rugs, blankets and pillows. The office door has a sign that reads "Please Drop Bundles Off Here", this photo was taken at 4:30 P.M.
