Brilliant sunshine greeted the one hundred thousand local residents and visitors who packed the streets of downtown Tacoma to view the Golden Jubilee parade. The 133 entries included over 60 floats, many from Washington counties, horses, thousands of military personnel marching with their bands, a horse-drawn fire engine and a tallyho coach.
