Police and state revenue agents seized cartons of unstamped cigarettes and other Tabacco products allegedly headed for the Satiacum Smoke Shop. The raid was based on a state law prohibiting unlicensed distributors from handling unstamped cigarettes. Puyallup Tribal members and others served as security guards during the sale of fireworks for Fourth of July. It was part of an ongoing conflict of who should be allowed to sell fireworks consisting of jury trials and public protests. The United States Marshalls only did a single drive by. Two people sit on the hood of a car holding pump shotguns.

Sai Dinh Nguyen works on a statue of love and gratitude that he and Khuyen Van Hoang molded from 1,200 pounds of concrete. It isn't known yet where the statue will be placed, though some consideration has been given to moving it to a community center at Bayview, WA.
