Margie Orris stands on a curved staircase admiring a bouquet at Miethkes Flower Shop. The shop sold and delivered floral arrangements and offered small gifts for sale. The address for Miethkes is given in the 1952 phone book as "Milton Ave.- foot of the Hill, Route 2, Tacoma" and in the 1953 phone book as " 1 mile East of Old Fife Square, RFD 2." Photo ordered for the never published TNT wedding layout of 1952. The TNT pressmen were on strike from April - August of 1952 and no papers were published during the time that weddings were usually featured. Miss Orris wed Gary Myles White on August 9, 1952 at St. Patricks. Miss Orris was the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Frank F. Orris and the bridegroom elect was the son of Mr. and Mrs. A.K. White. Leo Rink and his bride elect Jeanne Farrar were married on October 5, 1952 at St. Patricks Church. The future Mrs. Rink was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Farrar and a graduate of Lincoln High School. Rink was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank L. Rink and a graduate of Bellarmine and Seattle College.
