Also included is Justi's "Narratives of Salishan: The Untold Story," a documentary she produced for her Masters Capstone Project in Spring 2019 as part of the University of Washington Tacoma's Masters of Arts and Interdisciplinary Studies program.

The documentary introduction states, "When it comes to Salishan, most of the history that we do know lies in short, unnuanced articles in the Tacoma News Tribune. These articles were, and continue to be, influential in the ways readers view the neighborhood and those who live in it. Written by outsiders who may have preconceived notions, these articles leave no space for residents’ voices and their experiences. Taking this into consideration, the history that we don’t know resides in the minds and memories of those who have lived there, including families that belong to the Puyallup Tribe from whom the land was originally taken. It’s important to examine these perspectives to develop a fuller picture of the neighborhood. Since its origins in 1943, Salishan has had a negative reputation within the larger community. Without the voices of the tenants, negative stereotypes about Salishan will persist. We should ask, 'who’s telling the story?' and 'who’s constructing the narrative of Salishan?' This film project documents the experiences of residents, using their own voices, as an intervention into the dominant negative narrative about Salishan."

Photographic negatives taken by Myron Kreidler. The negatives are mostly of Spanaway, Midland, and Parkland businesses and were taken by Kreidler for the Prairie Pointer newspaper in 1946. Other negatives include images of South Tacoma, as well as images of wind damage to Spanaway Park, the Pierce County Bresemann Park purchase, and outdoor activities such as fishing and skiing.

Action Bulletin was a newsletter published 9 times yearly, from September-June, by the Washington Education Association. It covered topics related to teachers, schools, students and education in general across the state.

Alki: The Washington Library Association Journal, published by the Washington Library Association, covers topics of interest to library organizations. It was mailed to all WLA members and published three times a year, with a theme for each issue. They published opinion pieces and articles covering topics related to intellectual freedom, collection development policies, literacy, outreach, public services, conferences, the changing role of library workers, continuing education, and an annual WLA Conference issue.

All Our Children: The Child Welfare Practice Digest is a quarterly digest published in collaboration by the Northwest Institute for Children and Families and the Children's Administration of the Department of Health and Social Services. It published articles and essays related to child welfare, raising children and chosen themes for each edition, such as foster care, substance abuse and education.

American Indian Crafts and Culture was a monthly magazine published by Tyrone H. Stewart that published articles on history, costuming, crafts, and Native news, as well as book and record reviews, profiles, and features on individuals and groups.

American Paper Industry was a monthly magazine published by PIMA, whose goal was to disseminate information relating to operation and management techniques to aid management skills in the paper industry.

The Amerindian was a bi-monthly information news bulletin published by Marion E. Gridley. It covered news articles about Native tribes and events of interest to many Native groups

Art Reach was a Tacoma arts newsletter published monthly by the Allied Arts of Tacoma. It advocated for the arts in Tacoma and covered local art events and artist groups in the areas of theater, dance, film, and music.

Asian American Alliance Newsletter was a monthly/bi-monthly newsletter that served the Tacoma/Pierce County region. It began publication in 1973 and ended publication in 1980. Asian American Alliance Newsletter included educational resources, local news and events, employment opportunities and information on community organizations such as the Asian American Advisory Council.

Asian Family Affair was a monthly newspaper serving the greater Seattle area. It began publication in 1975 and ended publication in 1985. Asian Family Affair included local and national news, sports, interviews of community members and commercial advertisements.

Balls & Burlaps was a regional horticultural magazine published monthly by the Washington State Nursery and Landscape Association. It covered topics related to gardening, landscape maintenance, tree, shrub and plant upkeep, as well as environmental issues and weather.

The Bicycle Paper was a newspaper published 7 times a year, monthly from April through September, and one winter issue, by Seattle Publishing. It varied throughout its run from being published anywhere from 7 to 10 times per year. It published articles focused on the sport of cycling, and included topics such as trends, equipment, championships, as well as local, national and global cycling events.

BING is a fan magazine published by The International Club Crosby that comes out 3 times a year, in the spring, summer and winter. It covers the life and times of Bing Crosby and is dedicated to preserving his memory and musical legacy for future generations.

American West was a quarterly historical journal published by the Western History Association. It covered topics about the American West, including essays about famous figures, analysis, popular myths, historical events, maps and culture.
