General note

This little booklet is published with the primary object of meeting the needs of cooks who come to the coast country from the central states and are not familiar with the preparations of salt water fish, clams, crabs, etc. For that reason the fish department is larger in proportion than any other. The publisher is indebted to the ladies of Park Universalist Church of Tacoma, many of them having contributed recipes for their choicest dishes. Others have been secured from various sources, and every recipe has been thoroughly tested and found to be excellent.
From the book preface. 39 pages.
