Scope and content
Originally the Thurston County Courthouse, this building in Olympia, Washington became the second State Capitol building of Washington State (formerly Washington Territory). Purchased in 1901, it was dedicated in 1905. The current Legislative Building with the istinctive dome, has been in use since 1928.
