Built on the site of Dr. Bostwick's residence (SEE: 758-60 BROADWAY) "Truncated scalene triangle" Plans for remodeling in 1924 by Sutton, Whitney & Dugan, arch. at TPL -bldg. exterior faced with "Duralite" stucco in 1924 remodeling -bldg. briefly known as "The Brant Block" c.1932 -added to Tacoma Register by Resolution No.34303, 2/9/1999 -bldg. painted yellow with red trim during 1999 remodeling -on Oct. 18,1893, during a meeting of the Washington Commandery of the Loyal Legion of the United States, Civil War veteran Rossell G. O'Brien proposed a resolution that members always stand and remove their hats during the playing of the national anthem, starting the tradition -occupants included: Bostwick Hotel, Mme. Cort Van der Linden Millinery, Crystal Pharmacy, Tripple & Co.
