Photocopied essay titled, The Mormon Miracle, by Grace Johnson. Typewritten pages of memoirs attributed to W.E. Gordon, and others without attribution. Typewritten pages appearing to be dated diary entries, titled Sophie Lomas, Apex Hotel, Butte, Montana. Mimeographed pages of a play, entitled Music of Melodrama, no author named.

Large Scrapbook with Yarn Embellishments

Scrapbook assembled by Bruce Laffoon Allen, 803 S Union Ave., June 2, 1937. Contains playbills for musical performances given in Tacoma, many at the First Baptist Church, as well as recitals featuring Bruce Allen and his sister Elizabeth. Includes the brochure The Making of a Steinway by Elbert Hubbard, and a typewritten anecdote about Miss Cornish and Mr. Stojowski. Bruce L. Allen apparently joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and is presumed to have met Elizabeth Loring there.
