Cement pouring at C.P.S. The student population at the College of Puget Sound was growing at a rapid rate in the 1950's and new construction was needed to keep pace. McPhail Engineering Co. won a large contract from the college to build an addition to Anderson Hall, the woman's dormitory, in January, 1954.
