Demick Electric Supply, wholesale dealers in electrical equipment and supplies, was located at 2919 Alaska Street. It was owned and operated by Donald D. Demick. One item offered for sale in August, 1951, was the Oliver bread slicer. Rather than clumsily cutting irregular chunks of bread, you could easily turn the small handle on the side of the machine, insert the loaf, and have the machine slice the bread evenly and cleanly.
