12 various dance cards: One was for the ""Third Annual Ball" given by "Tacoma Tent No. 2 , K.O.T.M. on Tuesday, February 22, 1898, at Armory Hall", another was for "New Year's Eve, December 31, 1897" at Germania Hall, and a third has the Dance and Floor Committee members names on the back along with "Linnie Miller" written in pencil.

The skyline of Tacoma decorates the background of the photograph, comprised of left to right: the Rust Building (950 Pacific,) the Washington Building (1019 Pacific,) Puget Sound Bank Building (1117-19 Pacific,) Bank of Washingon Plaza (1201-23 Pacific) and Schoenfelds (1423 Pacific.) The Washington Plaza Building at 24 stories was Tacoma's tallest building.
