The bride wore a ballerina length ice blue gown with lace over net and crepe and a veil of ice blue tulle attached to a headpiece of orange blossoms. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William G. Brown and the groom was the son of Charles Thorleifson of Seattle. The bride was a graduate of Kapowsin High and PLC, where she was the President of Delta Rho Gamma. The groom was a graduate of Ballard High and PLC, where he belonged to the dramatics honor society Alpha Psi Omega. The couple made their first home in Seattle and both were teachers in Shoreline. Their wedding was reported in the Tacoma Reporter July 1, 1952. Stanley was the son of Carl H. and Elizabeth Nyssen.

Larsen - Chubb wedding party. Members of the wedding party included two flower girls, a ring-bearer, two young candlelighters, two bridesmaids and a maid of honor plus several ushers and the best man. The bride wore a satin gown with long train and a lace-trimmed veil. The groom sported a flower in the boutonniere of his dark suit. The evening ceremony took place on June 7, 1952.

Andrews and sold ladies' apparel, coats, suits, dresses, millinery and Charles of the Ritz cosmetics. The Bertucci-Boyle wedding took place on May 24, 1952.

Margie Orris stands on a curved staircase admiring a bouquet at Miethkes Flower Shop. The shop sold and delivered floral arrangements and offered small gifts for sale. The address for Miethkes is given in the 1952 phone book as "Milton Ave.- foot of the Hill, Route 2, Tacoma" and in the 1953 phone book as " 1 mile East of Old Fife Square, RFD 2." Photo ordered for the never published TNT wedding layout of 1952. The TNT pressmen were on strike from April - August of 1952 and no papers were published during the time that weddings were usually featured. Miss Orris wed Gary Myles White on August 9, 1952 at St. Patricks. Miss Orris was the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Frank F. Orris and the bridegroom elect was the son of Mr. and Mrs. A.K. White. Leo Rink and his bride elect Jeanne Farrar were married on October 5, 1952 at St. Patricks Church. The future Mrs. Rink was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Farrar and a graduate of Lincoln High School. Rink was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank L. Rink and a graduate of Bellarmine and Seattle College. Dilatush were looking at the latest models of front load washers and dryers when they were photographed at Paulson's Radio & Appliance store, 1101 South K (now Martin Luther King Jr. Way), for the 1952 bridal layout section of the News Tribune. The couple was married on July 26, 1952 at Immanuel Presbyterian Church. The bride was the daughter of Mrs. Robert E. Chambers of Denver and the groom the son of Mrs. Grace F. Dilatush of Seattle. Joan Thrasher tries on a lace wedding gown at the Bon Marche, as multiple mirrors reflect back her image. This photograph was shot for the TNT 1952 bridal layout. Joan Thrasher married Allen Jerome Morgan June 14, 1952 in the Christ Episcopal church. The ceremony was followed by a reception at the Tacoma Lawn Tennis club. The bride was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Thrasher of Tacoma and the groom the son of the Allen B. Morgans of Seattle. After the wedding, the couple left for Massachusetts, where the bridegroom served as coxswain for the Washington Athletic club-sponsored shell at the Olympic trials. Both Mr. and Mrs. Morgan graduated from the University of Washington, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta and the Totem Club. Before the wedding, she had taught at the University Place grade school. While at the U of W, the groom was the president of Chi Psi, and belonged to Big W and the Varsity Boat club. A large wedding party poses for pictures at the Willis-Bushnell nuptials. Shirley June Willis and David S. Bushnell Jr. were married August 8, 1952 at the First Presbyterian Church. The bride was the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Henry Willis of Tacoma and the groom was the son of Mr. and Mrs. David S. Bushnell of Seattle. The bride wore Chantilly lace over ice blue tulle and satin with an ice blue fingertip veil. The bridal attendants were Mrs. George W. Brewer, Mrs. Alvin Lackey, Mrs. W. Benjamin Davis, Mrs. Harry Sanky, Miss Jeanne Shugard and Miss Billie Mellis. Junior attendants were Linda Willis and Gary Willis. The best man was the groom's twin brother Donald D. Bushnell. Ushers were Alvin Lackey, Gail Halliday, Wes Wager, Robert Hagedorn and Wayne Willis. Lois Gunderson and Carol Berger were candlelighters. The reception was held at the Tacoma Lawn and Tennis Club. The bride was a graduate of Stadium High School and the University of Washington, where she was president of Pi Beta Phi sorority and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. The bride was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph C. Spalding. The groom was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Welk. The bride wore a gown of satin and lace in blush pink with a pink tulle veil. Her attendants were dressed in pastel green. Her sister Caroline Spalding was the maid of honor. Other attendants were Donna Jones, Doreen LeClef, Delores Welk, Mary Collings and Doris Greninger. Wedding of LaMoyne Barcott and John Hreha. LaMoyne is the daughter of Anton and the granddaughter of John Barcott. John Barcott, an immigrant from Yugoslavia, founded the California Oyster House on money raised from logging in Alaska. In 1946, John turned over the management of the restaurant to Anton. The Oyster House closed in 1958 and the family opened Harbor Lights on Ruston Way in 1959. LaMoyne eventually took over the management of the the famous waterfront restaurant. The couple were also avid magicians and won the best comedy act at the 1953 Convention of Pacific Coast Association of Magicians in Spokane for "the Vanishing Monkey." The bridegroom was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hreha, Sr. and a junior at the College of Puget Sound. The couple graduated from Lincoln High School. The bride wore a white gown of tulle over satin.
