40 et 8 Parade, Times, Sandegren. The 40 et 8 auxiliary of the American Legion marched through downtown Tacoma August 26, 1948, presenting the Goof Parade. This view shows the drum and bugle corps marching in their nightshirts. Some wear sleeping caps as well. They march along Pacific Avenue in front of the North Pacific Bank Note Company above Puget Sound Auto Electric and Western Auto Supply Company.
