Jones Hall, framed by a brick archway, on the campus of the College of Puget Sound. This view of the main building on the north end school was taken on December 27, 1929. Designed by the architectural firm of Sutton, Whitney & Dugan, it was the first building completed on the new campus of the College of Puget Sound in 1924. Funding for the stately brick building was provided by Mrs. Charles H. Jones who gifted the college $200,000 on her 78th birthday. The hall is named after her late husband, a prominent lumberman.
