The Aerie was not listed in the City Directory, indicating that it was a short time business at this address. In fact, it appears to be boarded up and abandoned in the photograph.

The building was originally brick with wooden store fronts, the stucco facade was added in the 1960's. Schoenfeld's Furniture, 1423 Pacific, can be seen in the background.

The building was originally brick with wooden store front, the stucco facade was added in the 1960's. The 1979 City Directory lists a Calvary Gospel Mission and Chapel at 1510-12 Jefferson Ave. The storefront in the picture is the Calvary Deliverance Chapel- House of Prayer.
