Josephine Patrick and Zella Newcomb were standing trial for disorderly conduct at the Tacoma Police Court on March 2, 1949. The women were represented by attorney John M. Coffee; they were charged with interfering with Police Captain, Larry Amundsen, while in the line of duty. Police Judge Frank Hale found the women guilty and fined them $10, the trial lasted two hours and forty minutes. Seated in front row left to right: John M.
