The Coast Magazine, also known as Wilhelm's Magazine The Coast and The Coast: An Illustrated Magazine of the West, features photographs, articles, editorials, and creative writing related to the Western United States. The Northwest Asian Weekly is a weekly newspaper based out of Seattle, WA and serves the Pacific Northwest region. It began publication in 1992 and is still producing weekly newspapers. The Northwest Asian Weekly covers local, national, and international news, local events, sports, editorials and commercial advertisements. Print edition ceased with 01/21/2023 issue, and publication is online only.

Real Change describes itself as the "Puget Sound Newspaper of the Poor and Homeless." The publication's first issue was in 1994. Real Change is published by the Real Change Homeless Empowerment Project which is a nonprofit organization that "organizes, educates, and builds alliances to create solutions to homelessness and poverty. We exist to provide a voice for the poor people in our community." The Real Change newspaper is published every other Thursday and sold by the poor and homeless of Seattle. Real Change publishes on local political issues, homeless advocacy, employment information etc. It also publishes creative writing like poetry as well as book reviews.

The Northwest Metalworker describes itself as "The Magazine For Machinists and Related Tradesmen." It is published monthly. The Northwest Metalworker publishes on new technologies, new products, safety, and trade education. They also publish reader write-ins.

The Mazama Bulletin is published by Mazamas, a non-profit mountaineering organization that was founded in 1894 and is headquartered in Portland, Oregon. The Mazama Bulletin is published bi-monthly, and, in the past, has had a monthly and yearly edition as well. The bulletin publishes articles about hikes, classes, and climbs put on by Mazamas, issues surrounding conservation, responsible recreation, and outdoor education.

The Homefinder was published by Children's Home Society of Washington quarterly and focused the adoption, fostering, and education of children in Washington state. The title was Washington Children's Homefinder from its inception up to September 1964 (Vol.66 No.3). The publication would often include pictures of children and information on adoption, fostering, homeschooling, and social services.

Northwest Energy News was published monthly by the Northwest Power Planning Council. It included articles on the inner workings of the Northwest Power Planning Council, and other news involving power plants, town hall meetings, conservation, etc.

Different Times was based in Seattle Washington and focused on disability rights. The publication was "dedicated to the proposition that all are created different, but equal." Different Times included articles about important events in the news that pertain to those with disabilities, articles that gave advice, like how to file an ADA complaint, opinion pieces, etc. Different Times was published mostly monthly, with short stints where it was published weekly, and every two months.

The Northwest Environmental Journal was published by the Institute for Environmental Studies at the University of Washington. It aimed to publish research involving the environment in the states of Alaska, Idaho, western Montana, Oregon, Washington, and northwest Canada. The journal included research that was also multidisciplinary, including works involving the natural sciences, social sciences and humanities. It was usually published bi-annually.

Northwest Indian News was a newspaper published out of Seattle, Washington that reported on local, regional, and national tribal news. Updates about the Fishing Wars of the Puget Sound region and the legal battle of the Boldt Decision were frequent topics. Other topics of interest include editorials on the American Indian Movement (A.I.M.) and articles about Native children within the foster care system.

Diversity News was a business periodical based in Seattle that aimed to serve a "diverse marketplace." Diversity News was published monthly and provided profiles of business professionals and businesses created by people from diverse backgrounds. Diversity News also published advertisements from both local businesses and large corporations.

The Negro History Bulletin, now known as The Black History Bulletin, was first established in 1937 by the Association for the Study of African American Life and History. It was published first monthly, then bi-monthly in 1976 and changed to quarterly in 1979. The Black History Bulletin publishes articles on important Black historical figures, moments of Black history, and current events relating to the civil rights and lived experience of Black Americans. The Bulletin has also featured advertisements for colleges, historical exhibitions, and Black History Week/Month.

The Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission (NWIFC) News was first published in 1985. NWIFC is published quarterly and changed its name in Fall 2015 to "Northwest Treaty Tribes: Protecting Natural Resources for Everyone". NWIFC focuses on issues regarding the climate crisis, conservation of fish and other animals, habitat preservation, tribal traditions, and treaty rights.

Northwest Air Lifter is a publication for the Lewis-McChord Airforce Base. The publication features national news headlines relating to the military. It also features stories and information on people and events in the McChord Base community.

Pandora was a feminist newspaper based in Seattle, Washington that ran from 1970 to 1979. It was published biweekly until May 1974 when it started being published once a month. Pandora focused on women's issues and topics like, motherhood, reproductive rights, personal safety, misogyny, sexual assault, and lesbianism. These topics were discussed in the form of news articles, opinion pieces, and creative writings like poetry. Pandora also gave its readers resources and information about women's groups or activist organizations in the region.

The Good Fruit Grower publishes stories and news related to fruit farming in the Pacific Northwest. The periodical provides sections that report on production in the fruit farming industry and highlights events for the farming community. Good Fruit Grower is owned and published by the Washington State Fruit Commission.

For your information was a publication produced by the Washington State Defense Council during the second world war. It contained primarily domestic news related to the war effort such as Victory gardens and articles encouraging civilians to recycle extra scraps of rubber and metal. It contained occasional photographs and illustrations, particularly in the later issues, of political comics related to the war in the pacific.

Pacific Yachting was a monthly magazine published by OP Media Group. It centered around yachting news mainly in Canada in British Columbia. There are self-submitted essays by readers, events occurring around the Pacific Northwest, and tips for where is best to sail in the area. Also included are reviews and recommendations for what boats and materials to purchase.

Civil Liberties is a newsletter published by the ACLU of Washington. It features current cases that the ACLU is working on as well as advice from legal experts. Along with current cases the ACLU is working on, the newsletter highlights people doing good work in the view of the ACLU. It also features advice columns and how to maintain civil liberties and rights in the United States and Washington.

Indian Voice was the newspaper of the Small Tribes Organization of Western Washington (STOWW). It reported on news from local reservations of the Puget Sound region. The most notable topics include the Fishing Wars and Boldt Decision, as well as treaty news and federal funding to tribal programs from the Economic Development Administration (EDA).

Channel is a monthly newsletter published by Associated Ministries. It is an interfaith newspaper in Pierce County that allows readers to submit works for publication. The newsletter markets itself as the only interfaith newsletter in Pierce County. The newsletter focuses on highlighting many different faiths, offering a calendar of religious days and observances. Additionally, the newsletter features news from varying faiths, as well as reader-submitted works from different faiths.

Key Peninsula News, switching its name from Key Peninsula Newsletter in 1985, was a newspaper that operated as the "voice of the Key Peninsula Civic Center". The paper served to publish community announcements, advertisements, and voting information to circulate through the South Puget Sound's Key Peninsula area, which includes the towns of Wauna, Key Center, Vaughn, Home, Lakebay, and Longbranch.

Puget Sound Computer User was a free monthly publication with its main goals to provide information regarding trends, tools, and guides to the computer world as well as offering articles on business technology, office automation, and computers. Each publication also included ads highlighting local businesses specializing in computer or tech-related services.

The Northwest Catholic is a monthly magazine published by Catholic Archbishop of Seattle, Paul D. Etienne. Its predecessor, The Catholic Northwest Progress, began publishing in 1911 and ended publishing in June 2013 along with it being printed as a newspaper. It started printing as a magazine in September 2013. It was published as a newspaper for almost 100 years on a weekly basis, and then changed to a biweekly newspaper and then to a monthly basis as a magazine. The library's collection of Northwest Catholic and The Catholic Northwest Progress begins in September 1999. The goal of Northwest Catholic is to inform Catholics who live in the Pacific Northwest about the religion and current events. It includes holiday editions, such as Easter and Christmas, as well as editions regarding significant changes in the leaders of the Catholic Church. The change to magazine format changed the content to be more of a lifestyle magazine, offering advice and interpretations of situations to readers.

Monthly newspaper publication published in Seattle by the Automobile Club of Washington, a chapter of the national American Automobile Association (AAA). Content included various automobile and transportation news on a local, regional, state and federal level, editorials, various events throughout the state including the Western Washington Fair and the World’s Fair, and automobile column and automobile transportation news in politics.

Washington Highways, a publication of Washington State Department of Highways began in 1951 by the title News. in 1957 the title changed to Highway News, then in 1962 to Washington Highway News and finally to Washington Highways in 1964. The title ceased with the May 1972 issue. The periodical covered transportation projects, highway district news, department personnel news, and department safety news in Washington State.
