Governor Arthur B. Langlie, second from left, at College of Puget Sound graduation ceremonies to deliver the Commencement Address. President R. Franklin Thompson, in cap and gown, is next to the governor. The couple on right is likely Mr. and Mrs. Dix Rowland. There would be 163 candidates for degrees at C.P.S.'s 67th Commencement held on June 5, 1955. Governor Langlie's topic would be "Putting Meaning into Life."
