Dagmar Quevli is surrounded by her nine attendants in the Great Hall of Annie Wright Seminary. She and Ensign Wayne Beale Knight were married August 31, 1952, in Raynor Chapel. Miss Eleanor Mills was maid of honor and Mrs. James Burkheimer of Seattle was matron of honor. Mirs. Kirby Torrence of Seattle lighted the candles. The six bridesmaids were Christie Scott, Elizabeth Ayrault, Donna Moore of Seattle, Joan Lein and Martha Dorsey, both of Spokane, and Jane Palmer. Dagmar Quevli radiates happiness as she poses for her bridal portrait in the Great Hall wearing a French petite brocade gown. She carried a simple bouquet of white chrysanthemums and asters. Wedding portrait of Avonne Nadine Nelson and Lt. Truman Everett Boudinot, Jr. Miss Nelson, daughter of Mrs. Hazel Morton Nelson, and Lt. Boudinot, son of Mrs. Truman Boudinot of Beverly Hills, Ca. and the late Brigadier General Boudinot, were married on a Friday afternoon, January 12, 1951, in Raynor Chapel at the Annie Wright Seminary with Reverend Arthur Bell officiating at the single ring ceremony. Miss Nelson wore a pastel pink Adrian suit with an off white straw hat trimmed with white velvet flowers and carried a bouquet of carnations, pink roses and white stephanotis. The maid of honor was Miss Constance Brady and the best man was Robert Winskill. After the ceremony, the couple left for a three week motor tour of Santa Barbara and Palm Springs.
