- Logs being loaded onto railroad car at what may be Bordeaux Bros. Camp #1 outside of Shelton, Washington. The post office at Shelton established March 23, 1885 was called Sheltonville for a number of years. It was named for David Shelton, an early settler who served several terms as the mayor.
