- Printed on back: Viking Room, Tacoma Hotel. The scheme of decoration throughout the hotel is of a decidedly marine character. The main dining room, which is magnificently equipped, is called the "Viking Room," deriving its name from the painted frieze around the walls. Tacoma Hotel was erected in 1884, and enlarged and remodeled in 1905.
