- Looking across Lake Union towards the Alaska Yukon Pacific Exposition fairgrounds being built on the University of Washington campus. The Manufactures Building, one of the first large exhibition buildings to be constructed at the site, is visible at top right. The Alaska Yukon Pacific Exposition ran from June to October, 1909, after which some- but not many- of the fair buildings were retained for the University. circa 1908.
