- Allen C. Mason built this beautiful mansion in 1892, then lost it in the financial panic of 1893. It was part of the Whitworth College until their move east to Spokane in 1913. In 1920, John P. Weyerhaeuser had this and the other college buildings razed, and built Haddaway Hall, which still stands on the site. circa 1909.
