Scope and content

Measures 75 feet by 85 feet. The medium is traffic marking latex paint with additive. Dionne Bonner's description of the work is "Paint the Street temporary community Intersection mural was designed to be participatory. This temporary mural involved the community from design to completion and was painted directly on the pavement at a neighborhood intersection. Members of the community came out during a block party-style event over two days to draw out the design and paint it in. The event brought people together to paint a brightly colored mural the neighbors helped to design through workshops. The mural project encouraged calmer traffic and a safer environment".
