Machinery for the construction of the Tieton Canal in Naches, Washington, located in Yakima County. The work was part of the government's Reclamation Service to establish irrigation services in the area. Two-foot long sections of steel reinforced concrete were winched up hillsides, creating a 12 mile long canal. The first water deliveries were made in May of 1910 to the 28,000-acre district.
