Mrs. Keith Truman Carlsen (formerly Rosalie Joan Fowler) happily signs her marriage certificate in front of beaming witnesses on December 22, 1951. In attendance were believed to be her maid of honor, Jo Ann Nelson and Ralph Hansen, the best man. Smiling directly at the camera was the groom, Keith Carlsen with minister Rev. Waldemar Frastad at right. Rosalie, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ross Fowler and Keith, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Norman Carlsen, were wed at Olivet Lutheran Church in Tacoma. The bride wore a white slipper satin and Chantilly lace gown with an inset of tiered lace on her skirt. She had attended the University of Washington and the groom, Pacific Lutheran College. Their first home was to be Boston. (TNT 12-30-1951, D-6-alt. photo)
