  • 13 images. Union Club Whidden & Lewis, arch. A.H. Smith, supt. of construction -granite for bldg. quarried at Bellingham Bay -plans for alterations in 1925 by Sutton, Whitney & Dugan, arch. at TPL -became the University-Union Club in 1939, when the two clubs merged -some accounts credit Stanford White as the bldg.'s architect. There is is no evidence indicating his involvement. Although William M. Whidden did do some work for the firm of McKim, Mead & White it is unlikely Stanford White had any connection to the bldg.
