Close up of Miss Lucy D. Farrar, 81 year old cyclist. Miss Farrar is an advocate for riding for improved health and vigor. She has been a cyclist for 40 years, since the bicycle craze of the Gay Nineties. She regularly pedals from Tacoma to her second home on South American Lake, a round trip of 14 miles.
