Exterior of Kaiser Dome. Dirt walls form a protective barrier around the exterior of the new Kaiser Dome located on Pier 7 in the Tacoma Tideflats in March, 1967. This was the Port of Tacoma's new alumina storage facility that would hold 50,000+ tons of alumina. The Port had a contract with Kaiser Aluminum and expected 40,000 tons a month.
