Two workers from the Potlatch Speed Space Corp. smooth down newly laid cement next to the North Lake Elementary School under construction. Two other men are spotted observing on September 4, 1968. The one-level school was being built among the trees for the Federal Way School District. It, along with two other elementary schools, would close in 1975.
