This photograph of Marjie Joy Miller appeared in the Tacoma Times on January 17, 1948 while she was appearing in the Tacoma Little Theater production of "Janie". Praised by a local critic as the next Janis Paige, she went on to have a career as a dancer and actress under the name Marjie Millar. She starred with Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis in "Money from Home" and played Ray Bolger's girlfriend in the TV series "Where's Raymond".
