The largest apprentice class was graduating from Tacoma Vocational School, 142 students had successfully completed their vocational programs, 50% of the students had taken an automotive mechanics course. The ceremony was being sponsored by the Washington State Apprentice Council, Bureau of Apprenticeship, U.S. Department of Labor, Tacoma Public Schools, State Board for Vocational Education and Tacoma Joint Apprenticeship Graduation Committee.
