This is the Eells St. State Highway Bridge and adjacent eastside homes as pictured from on top of McKinley Hill on March 6, 1927. 1927 maps listed the bridge as above although local newspapers called it simply the Puyallup River Bridge which opened about the time of this photograph. The group of large buildings left of the bridge have been identified as the George M. Harty Lumber & Mfg. Co. The Seattle-Tacoma Interurban line, barely visible, runs next to the bridge.
