ca. 1970. Copy of customer print. This is believed to be the PG 98, the "Grand Rapids," which was launched at Tacoma Boatbuilding's Marine View Dr. plant in April of 1970. It was commissioned on September 5, 1970. The "Grand Rapids" was named after the hometown of (then) House Minority Leader, Gerald R. Ford, who was in attendance at the launching.
