The Ladies' Musical Club celebrated their fifty years of existence with a concert and tea in Weyerhaeuser Hall at the YWCA. The group had its first concert on October 28, 1890 in one of the member's homes. Over 20 charter members of the organization attended the Golden Jubilee celebration. (T. Times 10/4/1940, pg. 3)
