Scope and content

Scenes from "Knickerbocker Holiday," Tacoma Drama League's first production in their Little Theatre at North 2nd and "I" Street. These fierce Red Men plagued the community of New Amsterdam, the setting of the Maxwell Anderson play. The play's opening would be followed by galas celebrating the long awaited realization of a new home for the Drama League. The production would take place at the same time as the local premier of "Tugboat Annie Sails Again" with celebrities and society people moving effortlessly between the two events.
