Marion Roseann Burns, now Monroe, shows off her wedding ring to a group of men that possibly includes her husband, Thomas Harbine Monroe, and his groomsmen. Best man for the wedding was A.E. Betz, Jr. Ushers were Bernard D. Elliott, Robert Martin, Manson Backus II and John C. Bardsley, Jr. The couple was married November 24, 1940 at the Christ Episcopal Church in Tacoma. (T.
