Wedding of Miss Barbara Ball and Henry Hewitt, Jr., on May 24, 1941. The wedding was held at the Mount Baker Presbyterian Church, Seattle, and the reception at the Rainier Club. The wedding party poses for formal pictures. Mrs. Lloyd Nordstrom served as her sister's Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids, in no particular order, were Peggy Carper, Barbara Haggard, Mrs. Carl Straight, Mrs. Joe Livengood, Louise Lyford and Mrs. Nelson Bennett. The bride's four year old niece, Loyal Nordstrom, was the flower girl. Edwin Davis was the Best Man. Ushers were Douglas Ball Jr., Thomas Carstens, Edmund Cardin Jr., George Tart, Joseph Long and Robert Lea. (T. Times 5/26/1941, pg. 11)
