Schubert's Westgate Pharmacy advertised itself as being a complete drugstore, serving the North End. It also contained a postal station and offered free delivery. Here a pharmacist, possibly owner Guy W. Schubert, appears to be dispelling advice to a customer about "Bisma Rex." Besides prescriptions, pharmacies also sold assorted sundries and non-prescriptive items, including remedies for chapped lips, cough syrup, and razor blades.
