Scope and content
In August of 1941, Mrs. Marie Parker, 912 So. G St., was photographed with the two birds that she had saved from death by feeding them by hand with a tweezers. She is feeding "Bobby", a sparrow, who was found as a small chick after it fell from its nest. The bird resting on her shoulder is "Tweety", a robin. "Tweety" was rescued from the clutches of a hungry cat. (T. Times 8/5/1941 p.3)
