Home portrait of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence P. (Alabama) Christenson, taken to announce their 62nd wedding anniversary on December 25, 1941. The couple was married December 25, 1879 in Shelby County, Iowa. Prior to their arrival in Tacoma 41 years ago, they had lived in Iowa and South Dakota.
