Actress Lana Turner, right, with Mayor Harry Cain and her mother, Mrs. Turner, in the back seat of Titus Motor Company's 1924 Lincoln Touring during Miss Turner's visit to Tacoma for a War Bond rally. Miss Turner is wearing a wide brimmed hat, patterned dress and a multi-strand necklace of pearls. She spent the war years, besides making films, helping raise funds for the Treasury Department through successful bond appearances.
