Salvage Depot. Salvage pictures for the Junior Chamber of Commerce. As the war continued, American families were asked to conserve and recycle any materials used for wartime products. Salvaged items included tin cans, bottles, rubber, paper, scrap metal and even fats left over from cooking. The materials were brought to a Salvage Depot (this one operated by the Junior Chamber of Commerce.) (also dated 06-00-1942)
