St. Regis Paper Co. president and CEO William R. Adams stands next to enormous rolls of (kraft) paper on June 15, 1965, during a visit to the company's Tacoma plant. Adams, of New York, was in Tacoma along with Chrm. of the Board Roy Ferguson for dedication ceremonies commemorating the grand opening of the company's new $5,000,000 veneer plant and studmill.
