The National Bank of Washington opened its $800,000 electronic center in April, 1965, at 1015 Center St. Tacoma architects Lea, Pearson & Richards designed the building which was built by John Lade, contractor. This aerial view, taken on February 14, 1966, shows the multi-storied building with large electronic sign. Goodwill Industries, visible on nearby So. 27th St., was built and designed by the same people responsible for the electronic center; it also opened in 1965. Tacoma's industrial Tideflats area can be seen indistinctly in the horizon. Photograph ordered by National Bank of Washington.
