Aerial photograph of J.M. Martinac Shipbuilding facility taken on April 11, 1967. The shipbuilding's namesake is docked nearby. The 154-foot tuna boat was the fifth tuna seiner built for Lou Brito of San Diego who had developed a close working relationship with Joe Martinac. Mr. Martinac's mother christened the ship. The J.M.
