Celebrities in town for the grand opening of the Tacoma Mall Theater pose with courtesy car from Russ Dunmire Oldsmobile at the Lakewood Motor Inn. Couple is husband and wife acting team of Madlyn Rhue and Tony Young. Miss Rhue and Mr.Young had appeared together in the Western, " He Rides Tall." (1964) They both were featured, separatedly, in many television and motion pictures. Miss Rhue starred in television's "Days of Our Lives" and appeared on "Mannix" and "Bonanza." Mr. Young, son of character actor Charleton Young, appeared basically in Westerns, including a two-year stint as "Cord" in "The Gunslinger" and films "Charro" and "Taggart." Others invited to the Tacoma Mall Theater festivities included Arthur O'Connell, Troy Donahue, Tippi Hedren, and Jody McCrea. Most of the actors also spent the afternoon at Madigan Army Hospital visiting the sick and wounded; there were many there recently evacuated from Vietnam. ALBUM 5.
