Actress Diane McBain chats with a wounded GI at Madigan Army Hospital during a Tacoma visit of a group of celebrities attending the grand opening of the Tacoma Mall Theater. She, along with fellow actors Arthur O'Connell, Tippi Hedren and Troy Donahue, visited with hospital patients, many of whom were recent returnees from Vietnam. Miss McBain had toured South Vietnam as an entertainer during the Christmas season 1966 and 1967. Possibly best known from her television role as Daphne Dutton in "Surfside 6," she also appeared in more than 250 television shows, including "77 Sunset Strip," "Batman," and "Burke's Law." Miss McBain also had starring roles in the motion pictures "Parrish" and "Mary Mary." ALBUM 5.
