On July 9, 1968, Governor Dan Evans, right, paid a visit to the free summer camp, administered by the Tacoma-Pierce County Opportunity & Development, Inc., at Camp Murray. He was pictured speaking to Harold Moss (in profile), who would become Tacoma's first black mayor in 1994. George W.
